Italy

I love Italy.  The intense heat there in late-July was good reason to stop for Gellati 3 times a day (usually following each meal). The focus my trip in 2005 was to lap up the summer sun in small, pretty places in rural Tuscany and the small fishing villages on the Ligurian coast (though I suspect these days tourism to said-fishing villages is a lot more important than fish!). The pictures you see below are a small selection from time spent poking about cobbled Tuscan villages, driving around beautiful countryside and lapping up the late-July sun in the Cinque Terre.
