Hey folks, I'm currently on the road for 5 months in central america and won't be updating this
site that often during that time. I will however be keeping an online blog, along with photos,
of my time away. You can read it by clicking on the following link:

Yep - it's time for me to go travelling again, I'm taking 6 months off working life starting in
mid-November. I'll be popping back to New Zealand for 6 weeks for a wedding, Christmas and
New Year before flying to Mexico City about mid-January and making my way down through
Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. It feels long overdue, I
haven't gone walkabout for several months at a time in fair while. True, in that time I've had quite
a few quality holidays to some really cool places - but it's not quite the same as not having a job,
rent to pay, or anything you have to do other than those things you want to do.
I've made a bit more progress with this site too - it's still "under construction" but a lot less so
than it has been! I'm hoping to get quite a bit more done on it over the next few weeks before I
leave.
Peace out,
Steve

Hey folks
Hope all is well. In the last couple of months I've had a couple of pretty cool trips - one was
10 days along Provence and the Cote D'Azur (read: South of France, for those of you who dunno
where Provence and Cote D'Azur are!) withmy mate Beck. It was a very cool trip, we avoided
the cities and just hung out in small pretty places really. Took a load of photos, some which I'll
add here soon - although for now you can see one of the "calanques" (or creeks) around the
picturesque seaside village of Cassis over to the right.
I also went to Exit Festival in Serbia, a seriously monster 4-day music festival set in a medieval
fortress on the banks of the Danube river. Very cool - you can read about it here:
http://eng.exitfest.org/ - didn't take many photos though, I tend to lose interest in photography
after my 2nd beer - and as I had two beers on the plane before we'd even arrived in Belgrade
photography just never seemed to be a priority...
Keep smilin'!
